We produce high quality razor finned triploid rainbow trout from egg. Generally rainbow trout are sold by weight. Most of the fish we sell range from 0.5 lb  up to 8 lbs.

We also sell top quality triploid brown trout and Blue Trout.

Fry, fingerlings and larger fish can be supplied upon prior request.

RAINBOW TROUT – Onchorhynchus mykiss

The Rainbow Trout was brought to the UK from North America. They are distinguishable by their pinkish sheen, generally lighter colour and generally more spotted fins.

BROWN TROUT – Salmo trutta

Freshwater fish native to Europe and Asia. The species is only one of few native to the UK and are known for their brown and golden colouring. Their bellies are usually brown or yellow with silver or yellow sides and red coloured spots.

We produce and sell top quality triploid brown trout. Most weights are available ranging from 0.5 lbs up to 2.5 lbs.

BLUE TROUT – Onchorhynchus mykiss

 

Another variation that we produce which is a hard fighting fish. They have a distinct  iridescent blue colour on their backs, lighter on the underside, white fins and silvery bellies.

FRY, FINGERLINGS & LARGER FISH

We operate an indoor hatchery that is spring fed. Fry and fingerlings can be supplied upon prior request.

Larger fish can be pre-ordered to meet specific requirements.
